What The Record holds
In plain wordsTechnical detail
| Stored in | Details | Why | Kept for | Schedule row |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| record_self_items | member_id, form, section, title, organization, detail, issuer_url, from_ym, to_ym, on_profile, text_state | Shows what you say you did elsewhere, marked as self-reported. Only you can add or change one, and it is shown publicly only if you put it on your public page. | Until you remove it or the account is erased. | Row F2 |
| record_profiles | member_id, pub, is_public, show_marks, headline, about, grad_year, linkedin, show_school, show_year, show_linkedin, text_state | Holds your headline, short text, graduation year and LinkedIn address, and says which of them your public page shows. The page is off until you switch it on. | Until you switch the page off or the account is erased. | Row F4 |
| record_pages | item_id, member_id, slug, code, pin, away, ended, ended_ym | Gives each item that has a page its address and its ten-character code. When the item is gone the row becomes a nameless marker with its last status and the month, so an old link says nothing is listed. | The life of the item; then 36 months as a marker with no name, title, school or reason. | Row F3 |
| record_item_skills | item_id, skill_key, chosen_by | Says which skills an item involved, so each skill can link back to the items that show it. | The life of the item. | Row F10 |
| record_directory | member_id, school_id, sort_key, listed_at | Lists you in the public directory so that people can find your public page by typing your name. It exists only if you ticked "List me in the public directory" and your public page is on. It names your college and holds a random order number; searchers see only what your public page shows. | Only while you are listed. Deleted at once when you untick it, when your public page goes off, when the page is held, or when your account is erased. | Row F5 |
| record_directory_keys | name_key, member_id | Holds up to four lower-case words of your name, with accents removed, so a search can match the start of a first or last name. It goes with your directory entry. | Only while you are listed. Deleted with your directory entry. | Row F5 |
| record_views | item_id, day, opens, lookups | Counts opens and code look-ups for each item by day. It holds nothing about who opened a page. | 400 days. | Row F8 |
