For being early
Founding numbers
A founding number is a small mark for being among the first at your college. Tillyard gives it for taking part, never for bringing people in.
- A college's founding window opens on the day its tenth member joins, and lasts 30 days.
- In that window, the first 300 members from the college to finish a study session in a study room, or to sit at a study session, each get a number.
- Numbers go out in the order Tillyard counts each first session or first seat. Anything done before the window opened counts.
- The window then closes for good. A number is never sold, moved or given to someone else.
- It is a mark for being early. It is not a title and does not belong on a résumé.

No college's founding window is open. It opens when enough members have joined from one.
Numbers are counted from Tillyard's own rows. Nobody types them in.
