Send a copyright notice

The law asks for six things, so a notice cannot be anonymous. A person reads every notice before anything is taken down.

Part 1: The work

Which work of yours is it?
Its title, and where it was first published or can be seen. If the notice covers several works, list them.
Part 2: The material, and where it is

The page address
The address of the page on this site where the material appears.

The opening and closing words of the passage
Quote enough for us to find exactly the part you mean.
Part 3: Who you are

Your full name

Your postal address

Your telephone number

Your email address
The ticket is sent here. If the author answers your notice, the law has us send you a copy of the answer.
Part 4: Your belief

I have a good-faith belief that this use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Part 5: Under penalty of perjury

The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner or am authorized to act for the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Part 6: Your signature

Type your full name. Typing it counts as signing.
